The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and Maqta Gateway, the digital arm of Abu Dhabi Ports, part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a broad portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s diversified economy, have announced the incorporation of Abu Dhabi Export Gateway as part of the Advanced Trade and Logistics Platform (ATLP).
Designed to serve as a digital online repository for trade information, Abu Dhabi Export Gateway will collect, compile, and data-mine target markets and industry intelligence for insights that will enable Abu Dhabi-based exporters to identify and target new business opportunities overseas.

Abu Dhabi ranks 9th globally and 2nd regionally in the economic performance index of the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2020November 25, 2020
Competing with 63 globally competitive economies in the world, the emirate of Abu Dhabi has been ranked 9th globally and 2nd regionally in ‘Economic Performance’ and 12th for ‘Government Efficiency’ indices, published in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2020 released by the IMD in cooperation with the Competitiveness Office of Abu Dhabi (COAD) of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED). The report results were shared during a workshop organized recently by COAD and IMD, presenting Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive data on competitiveness based on several criteria and various global indices.

The Advanced Trade & Logistics Platform, ATLP, the Single Window of trade in Abu Dhabi aims to facilitate trade through sea, land, air, industrial and free zones, in addition to enhancing customer and stakeholder experience within the trade and logistics sectors. The Single Window of trade in Abu Dhabi is developed and operated by Maqta Gateway, Abu Dhabi Ports’ subsidiary, and under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
