Al Ghurair Iron & Steel LLC (AGIS) is the first & only Flat Steel Cold Rolling & Galvanising complex in the United Arab Emirates and one of the largest producers of Galvanised Steel in the Middle East & North Africa region. It is a joint venture of the Saif Al Ghurair Group, one of the largest and well diversified business houses of UAE & Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSMMC), Japan�s largest and one of the biggest steelmakers in the world. Located in the capital city of Abu Dhabi, the 400,000 TPA facility caters to the requirement of the construction, steel fabrication & other non-automotive industries primarily in the MENA region. With a workforce of over 500 satisfied employees from more than 10 nationalities, AGIS prides itself with creating a professional work environment providing for growth and development of individuals. AGIS produces Hot Dip Galvanised Coils with a thickness range of 0.20 to 2.50mm and widths upto 1250mm. Sheets and slitted coils are also offered as per customer requirement. All grades of GI � CQ, LFQ, SQ & HSLA for a wide variety of applications are produced in AGIS. It also offers Skin Passed GI and Oiled GI for some special applications. Typical end uses of AGIS coil/sheet are in construction, domestic, agriculture, white goods / electrical appliances, furniture and fixtures, industrial components, outdoor, to name a few. The Galvanised Steel coils of AGIS have been EQM certified by the Emirates Authority for Standardisation & Metrology.
