Request for Building Permit
Through this service, customer can submit a request to obtain the Building Permit through Department of Municipalities and Transport E-permitting System (MEPS) system prior to construction.
Steps to Follow
STEP01
SUBMIT APPLICATION
Submit the request and the required documents through the service channels, and receive a notification to submit additional documents if required. Consultant (Applicant) will complete the Project Registration in E-permitting System (MEPS) system to fulfill the requirements, and obtain site clearance certificate from external relevant authorities.
STEP02
OBTAIN APPROVAL
Consultant will apply for Soil test work permit and Soil test investigation report approval from AD Ports Group Urban Planning team, and also apply for Preparatory approval from the relevant authorities to obtain DPA (Detailed Planning Approval) and circulation plan in addition to the Architectural, Structural & MEP relevant approvals.
STEP03
REQUEST REVIEW
Consultant will apply for Building Permit approval upon securing the necessary approvals from relevant authorities.
STEP04
REQUEST STATUS
Receive the approval or rejection. If the request is approved, Supervision consultant and contractor will be appointed to commence with the necessary requirements for Pre-Construction and Construction stages.
STEP05
SERVICE FEE PAYMENT
Pay the service fees to Department of Municipalities and Transport.
STEP06
SERVICE COMPLETION
Obtain the Building Permit and certified drawing layouts with QR code for verification.
