Steps to Follow

STEP01

Customer submits a formal request to de-register the company and cancel their Industrial/ Trading / Service Licence in Abu Dhabi Free Zone , and submit the necessary documents and clearances as per the checklist.

STEP02

APPLICATION REVIEWED

Customer pay the cancellation fee.

STEP03

RECEIVE RESPONSE

Abu Dhabi Free Zone will issue de-registration certificate, or request for additional information.

Required Documents

Shareholders’ Resolution resolving to dissolve the Company pursuant to Articles of Association - Notarised and Attested

Manager’s written undertaking for any non-liability

Declaration Of Solvency signed by all Directors

Confirmation from auditors or appointed liquidator confirming no objections or debt claims against the Company de-registering have been received or are unresolved

Advertisement in two local daily newspapers (English & Arabic) regarding de-registration of the company providing 14 days’ notice to the public

Return the following original documents: Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association & Articles of Association, Licence, Lease Agreement

Clearances from below departments: Finance Department on all outstanding liabilities, Leasing Department, Visa Services - Establishment card and Visa cancellation, Clearance from Abu Dhabi Customs

Required Documents
